Bree wrote in wanting a fantasy with a morally grey MMC who is down bad for the FMC with tension, yearning, and a slow burn.
This week I brought in Vasilisa Drake, author of A Bargain So Bloody and Forsaken Mate, to help me give romantasy recommendations with tension, yearning, and a slow burn that perfectly unfolds.
We talk about Between Tides and Thunder by Lena Kaszak, Forsaken Mate by Vasilisa Drake, The Contortionist and The Unseelie Prince by Katherine Anne Kingsley, A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and The Apothecary Diaries by Natsu Hyūga.
You can find Vasilisa on Instagram at @vasilisadrakebooks or on her website vasilisadrake.com.
